Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-29
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of TokenGift (the "Service"), operated by the TokenGift operator ("we"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Credits": prepaid balance usable to pay for AI model usage within the Service.
- "Gift code": a redemption code (starting with TGFT-) that delivers credits.
- "Developer": a user who integrates the Service's API into their application.
- "Purchaser": a user who buys credits or gift codes.
2. Accounts
- Developer features require an account. Keep your registration information accurate.
- You are responsible for safeguarding API keys and login credentials. If you suspect a leak, revoke the key immediately and contact us.
3. Credits
- Credits expire 150 days after purchase. Expired balance cannot be restored, refunded, or converted to cash.
- Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Nothing is skimmed from gift or top-up face value. Our compensation is the service margin included in the per-token prices on the pricing page.
- Per-token prices are versioned and changes are announced in advance. The price at request time applies.
- Promotional credits we grant for free are distinct from purchased balance and may be modified or expired without notice.
4. Gift codes
- Treat gift codes like cash and keep them secret. Anyone who knows a code can redeem it.
- Newly purchased codes have a short activation delay as a fraud countermeasure.
- We may temporarily freeze or void codes or balances suspected of fraud while we investigate.
5. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal activity, or use of AI for illegal purposes
- Purchases with fraudulently obtained payment instruments (carding)
- Brute-forcing gift codes, evading metering or billing, or otherwise circumventing technical limits of the Service
- Use that violates the terms or policies of upstream AI providers
- Interfering with the operation of the Service
6. AI output disclaimer
AI model outputs are provided as-is, without warranty of accuracy, usefulness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for how you use outputs and for the consequences.
7. Changes and interruptions
We may change or temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or other reasons. Supported models change over time; we aim to announce removals in advance.
8. Suspension and termination
If you violate these Terms we may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice. Balances obtained through fraud may be voided.
9. Limitation of liability
Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid to the Service in the preceding 6 months. Where mandatory consumer protection law applies, that law prevails.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms under the standard-form contract provisions of the Japanese Civil Code, with advance notice on this site and a stated effective date.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with the Tokyo District Court as the exclusive court of first instance. These Terms exist in Japanese and English; the Japanese version prevails if they differ.
